4.3 Blazer and 4.3 C1500 Radiator Cap Interchangeable?

Hi Guys,

I've been experiencing not fully heated coolant (stays about 170F).

Now, I looked at GM recommendations due to Dex cool contaminations and said best thing to do is switch from drop center radiator caps to spring center radiator caps

They suggest Stant 10230 or 11230. Problem is, Stant parts catalog does not say these will fit on a 96 C1500 4.3 vortec.

I've already done thermostat replacement (it really was bad before), leaking Intake Manifold Gasket, water pump (because I was in there anyway).

Anyway, I just wanted to replace the cap for preventative maintenance but just need verification that the part will work because I just don't know.

No idea but.... Go to your local parts store and compare the two and see what you think.... If no one chimes in otherwise..
