The first LQ4 had steel heads and a longer crank snout out the rear along with a different flexplate. Just wanted to make sure you got a newerish one with alum 317 heads.

Nope this is steel heads. 1999. I believe it's the first generation/year for this motor? From what I can tell the steel heads will handle power adders better than the aluminum and it was cheap, so I can't complain.
