305 motor questions

This is my 97 k1500 5.0 and I was looking into running a dual exhaust system on the truck but it's hard to find the bolt stuff because the motor is rare in the trucks? I've heard the 5.7 350 exhaust will bolt right up to it but I'm not sure and it's a lot easier to get certain things for the 5.7 over the 5.0, anyway thank you for your time.

As far as I'm aware the 96+ 5.0 trucks share the same exhaust system as the 4.3 V6 trucks. You could put on a system from a 5.7, but you'd have to swap to a 5.7 Y-pipe as well to make everything connect to the manifolds. And if you're going that far, it's pointless to use factory stuff. All the half ton factory Y-pipes are pretty bad.
