I've finally decided I'll just keep my 98 Z71 the way it is with the gutless piece of **** no good 5.7 vortec and just buy a newer Chevy with a factory installed duramax and call it a day instead of doing a duramax and transmission swap. I drove a decent 2009 duramax the other day and thought wow I'm sold my next truck will definitely be a duramax and since I live in Saskatchewan full delete with a Danville turbo (the whistle) 23mpg at 110km/h fully deleted vs my my rebuilt and tuned piece of **** 5.7 vortec at like 15 mpg best at 110km/h. Can't wait to ditch this piece of **** 98 Z71 5.7 vortec for a Duramax.
