So my next project is to tackle the stock sound system. I am thinking about doing 6.5" component speakers in the door, 6.5" speakers in the q logic kick panels, run these off a 4 channel amp, and disconnect the rear speakers.
Down the road I will get just one 10" sub and find some place to hide it. I want a clean install without sacrificing any cargo room with the seats up or down.
I will also buy a new head unit and install it at the same time. I haven't bothered to even start looking at one of those. My only preferences are Bluetooth and iPod compatible (pretty basic).
What are your thoughts on this set up for just something that sounds better?
Also, I have never seen it done but is it possible to put speakers in the B pillar? Since it hasn't been done I'm sure there is no immediate room and would require cutting and isn't worth the time or effort.
