It's been too cold and snowy to pull the '49 GMC and Z28 out of the shop. I could get them out, but the approach to get them back in afterwards is dicey. With that being said, the Bilsteins are still sitting on the bed of the '49 uninstalled.
Got the new wheels/tires on the wife's Mach 1 and then decided to order a set of louvers for the rear window(not installed, waiting until I can bring the shop up to around 68*+ without kicking on the nuclear backup generator). It definitely looks mean now.
'Burb has soldiered the cold temps well, it's currently white from the roadspray garbage...did I ever tell everyone how much I HATE mag-chloride and salt?
I've been looking for a RCLB K2500\3500 for a "farm pickup". May have stumbled on a K2500 with a flatbed that has a partial LS swap completed. Hoping to go look next weekend if it works out...I already have a plan working in my head for the finished "look".
I'm getting close to brand new Duramax purchase time....
I've got a certain black LS swapped K2500 that'd probably make a solid farm truck.
