Been lurking for a bit. Finally picked up a running obs. 126k on it. Vortec 454, 4l80e. She ain't real pretty. The cab and the frame are in good shape. Looking to learn a lot about these. Mostly aftermarket parts, what's good and what's bad. She runs decent and doesn't burn oil. I got a winner for now.

Well, I am hoping to do a on frame resto on it. I'll post up some more pics of the bad on it when, I get a chance to. It has the leather seats, the rear bench is salvageable. The front bucket seats are done for. No chance of saving them. The dash is cracked. It will be a project with some of the other issues it has.
