How do the ports on the Brodix heads compare to the stock intake, size wise?
They are a bit larger ovals than vortec Ovals. I don't have an original intake off. But just looking at stock heads vs gasket, there is a difference there. Brodix heads fit gasket better. Will have better difference pictures when intake is off again.

Officially started the tear down for exhaust leak repair. Finally after a lot if measuring and checking, ordered ls7 balancer bolt. Have to machine the balancer to put it on correct installed height. And need to make adapter ring to center pulley.

First part of the balancer issue is resolved. Trying to get the rest of the components together.

Posting these just for reference. Been told different numbers for fuel tank depth. Depth 12" Opening hole is 3" diameter. Finally found my engine rattle as well. There was a bracket loose sitting on top of the bellhousing.

Very convenient hood hinge. Nice not to have to remove the hood pulling the motor. Also progress on making the brackets work on a tall deck block.

Wow, how did the Camino like having a big block in its bed?
Eventually it supposed to make it under the hood. But with financial drain from the burban project I heavily considered just selling it. Previous owner stuck 454 badges on elco and finally they become somewhat correct. As for weight, it handles it fine.
