Eventually it supposed to make it under the hood. But with financial drain from the burban project I heavily considered just selling it. Previous owner stuck 454 badges on elco and finally they become somewhat correct. As for weight, it handles it fine.

Thanks, it has air bags in the back. Originally came with air shocks.

Quick short tear down and someone left "I was here" bolts instead of couple of head bolts. Overall everything so far on the 7.4 looked fine.

Started on the wiring. Removed most of engine side. Have to sort and wrap the rest. New motor mount inserts made it in as well. Washed majority of grime off.

Getting closer. Need to get oil pump and oil pan, then make valve covers and intake.

4x4 operation is being a pain to sort out. New ecm required a can message from tccm that 4x4 is on before it will accept a 4lo signal

Brackets about done and oil pump is set.

Finally pumped fuel tank out. Was a heavy drop over half full.
