So im on my secong 195 degree thermostat and my truck wont reach running temp for nothing. Im so confused and thinking my truck is wasting fuel running in cold mode. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Get a scanner that reads live data and check to see what the ECM is actually seeing for coolant temperature. The dash gauges on these trucks are notoriously unreliable, and yours is probably wrong. Mine always reads at the 1/4 mark.

You can also use a infrared temperature thermometer and read it off the top of the fitting that is on top of the block in the front that connects to a radiator hose. If it shows the correct temperature you might have a problem with coolant temperature sensor (CTS) right next to it. That is the sensor that the computer reads to determine the fuel mixture.

See this thread for more CTS info
