1995 gmc PROM replacement

Is the PROM replaceable on a 95 gmc c1500 there is no carrier and the legs look to be 1 piece that wrap under the chip? The computer is a BJLX if it matters?

It was on my 95, removed and installed in a remanned ECU.

you take off the cover on the ECU, push out prom socket tabs, out it comes.
