Heres how the rpms work

Math goes: 70(MPH) x 3.73 (gear ratio) x 336 (given constant) = 87729.6

87729.6/ 35 (tire size) = 2506.56 (this would be the rpm for no OD)

2506.56 x .75 (for 4L80 OD ) = 1880

And it comes out to 2298 @ 70 with 4.56s

So if I can afford to regear I'm thinking 36s(should fit right?) With the 4.56s. That puts me just under 1800rpm at 55 and just over 2200 at 70.

I've read the sweet spot is 1800-2200 with my truck for mph.

36's are only 1/2 inch difference so yea they should fit fine. Thing is not all of them measure up to what they are listed. Your 35's could be 33 or 34 inches tall and same for the 36's.

Well, I have an update, I've got almost all the parts I need to get the truck going.
Got a guage that will tell me boost, ext. Temp, and I'm gunna have it tell me trans temp.
I got a new pmd with heat sink and extension cable.
New batteries.
And 4 brand new nitto mud grapplers. I wasn't even looking at them unfilled a buddy told me he could get me a good deal.
I need a new cone air filter, I have to pay to get the wiring done, then I just need to get it insured and ill be ready for hunting this winter.

I have decided to wait on the gears, for now, hopefully it won't be to hard on the trans. With the 315/75/16s.

Yeah, I've read all about them, and my truck will be pretty much just for hunting.
