Will a 1995 (4.3) S10 Blazer 4l60e work in a 1994 k1500 (5.7)?

Technicially, no...1995 is a stand-alone year for the 4L60E as it's the first year of PWM and only year that used the first design pump, spacer plate, valve body and wiring harness. That said, it may work in a 94 since the 94 has a simpler command strategy but you'd have to at minimum replace the wiring harness with an updated Rostra harness and convert the valve body's tcc regulator valve to function as an "on-off" regulator using Fitzall's TCC valve kit for 95-2000 units.

To mininize risk/costs, I'd either look for another 1993 or 1994 unit or rebuild yours.

1. Is the '95 transmission from a 4WD vehicle?
2. Wouldn't surprise me to discover that the V6 transmission has fewer clutch plates and/or other changes compared to the V8 transmission.
The 4.3 700s and 4L60Es had the same clutch pack count as the V8 units; the 3.4, 3.8 transmissions did have one less clutch in the 3-4 and fwd clutch pack, IIRC though it's been ages since Ive been through one of them.
