We have a special set of skills and we will find you and put pin holes in your "silly cone" gaskets...Fel-Pro gaskets on non-vortec heads and Permatex Ultra Black on the china walls is how I roll, but now I must depart before The Right Stuff gang finds me.
Video isn't as easy as it looks. Getting comfortable in front of the camera is hard. You have to speak clearly and deliberately without saying "umm" a hundred times. If you're doing an instructional video you have to focus on the work you're doing while also concentrating on what you're saying so you don't screw up your terminology. Of all the video I've shot, about 2/3 stays unpublished because it's not usable. Then you have to edit it. That's the hard part for me. It's soooo tedious.Maybe some of us need to make a video on it. Doesn't sound like it's too difficult,if those idiots could figure it out.
I agree about the video's. I have 4 videos on you tube about my girl's 2002 TrailBlazer referencing ignition switch replacement and correct switch gear set up and replacing spark plugs and ignition coil boots. I found that doing video's can be a PITA and it would slow me down. I was never going to get rich or famous from the videos, so I stopped doing them. I got great reviews but again, it slows the process. Not worth it to me.Video isn't as easy as it looks. Getting comfortable in front of the camera is hard. The video movievet's referencing may have a lot of "Yo this and Yo that" in it, and I'll acknowledge that it's distracting, but good video doesn't come easy.
