Having owned a C5 Z06 and a c1500 RCSB, I can comfortably say it will never handle the same. I love me some trucks on track though, so by all means go for it.

I want to make my old Dodge truck an all around build: street, strip, track.

Did some fiddling with this truck lastnight and a little today. Engine and trans are now out.

I have a $225 6.0 that I was told Ran. So while the LS6 is in machine shop prison, I'll go ahead and put it in the truck.

Stripped it of the van specific parts.

Decided to do a 100% brand new brake system while the engine is out. New stainless brake lines, hoses, rear drums, 100% rear drum rebuild, front drilled and slotted rotors, brand new dual piston calipers, wheel bearings, master cylinder.
