1988-1995 oil cooler line fittings

I was wondering if the Quick Connect fitings are better than OEM?
Is there any other alternatives like using a NPT fitting and rubber hose?

do yourself a favor and delete the thing, i and others had nothing but issues with lines leaking, i recently had a line start leaking and lost all my oil while driving on the highway.. i deleted it

Not sure on a gasser, but this is what we do on 6.5 that need the cooler for towing:

Diesels that tow don't have the option for dropping the engine oil cooler. A gasser that's a DD would do just fine without
