1500 leaf spring vs. 2500 leaf spring?

The guy said the truck would ride like a lumber wagon empty but if youre hauling stuff its a good upgrade. Have you thought about air bag helper springs, stock ride quality till you fill the bed with stuff??

No I already have 2500 leaf springs on the back I actually bought the truck that way an yeah it rides like a lumber truck empty lol!!!!! The reason I asked the ? is i'm about to put a 4/6 drop on an my friend said that the flip kit wouldn't work because the leaf springs we thicker so that's why I asked the ?

That's awesome I been waiting months to put this kit on an to put the avs c-notch in. I will be putting everything on this weekend. Whats the best way to put this notch in, I was thinking weld it in then cut out the remaining section that is showing then weld in the bottom piece. Any advice would help lol!! 1 ton spring's are also the same width, keep in mind one thing though, with the thicker the spring pack you will see more drop with a flip kit, typically a flip on a 3/4 or 1 ton will give you an 8 in. drop or close too it.
