Was browsing some threads on here as well as other truck forums through the internet about the disc brake swap on a 14 bolt SF 6 lug. Judging by some of the threads either people don't know everything that is needed in the swap, or the people producing these kits offer them more exclusively for the 8 lug. I saw on the website below the brackets and spacers for the swap, leaving you with common parts that can be picked up at any Auto Zone, etc.

Would this be the easiest way to go? Seems straightforward and fairly simple. I want to keep my e brake, so I would most likely go with Eldo calipers.

To be honest with you I can make the brackets and shims very easily if I have measurements to go off of. :evillol:

Not sure you will need all those parts. I put discs on teh rear D44 in my jeep, I used a c1500 front rotor and a 84 eldorado rear caliper. For propper bearing spacing, I simply took the old backing plate, cut out what bolted to the flange, then then just bolted the retainer to the axle. for the caliper mounts, I was going to make my own, but ruffstuff had weld on mounts. Just welded it on. I am betting the rotor I used would fit your application as would the caliper. just pic a caliper mount that fits you application.
