So i lucked up and scored a set of full forward fold seats for my 93 extended cab. I nevee use the back seat for people, only the dogs and hunting gear. So this makes it easier on the 9 yr old lab.

Even the wife was impressed.

Anyway, im just startig out. Will post pics and progress along the way!!

First mock up. There was a bolt on the upper left corner, i punched out and lined it up with that factory mount hole. Bolted it down just to see how it would look . And the gap. It leaves about a 2.5” gap, and rubs the door, but it will close. This is bumped up to the tunnel.

I did a bit of trimming excess off the back end; and started working on cutting the 2.5-3” of material off the left side but got caught at dark.

Hoping to have the full take off of the one side tomorow. For the mist part i will be using factory holes, and adding brackets along the way. I will need to jack up the ass end about 2 inches to make the seat sit flat, then im gona weld a back plate to cover that huge hole

Now ; for best part! I was able to re use 3 out of 4 factory mounting holes in the truck. The 4th is front inside… i did have to weld a tab on back left to catch the hole ; and I believe there was a pilot hole on back right i opened up to go in to place. U can see the 1/4” hole, but im thinking i just lucked up and it was already there. My bit was barely long enough to mark the hole so i kno i didnt drill thru it from bottom especially that straight lol. Front right, i set seat where I wanted it. And marked from under truck thru factory mount hole.

Daughter has basketball game tomorow, but Friday I will bolt it back in all in place and flip up seat to show how its mounted. Once this seat is done I will try to do driver next week. I wont go thru the whole install as its pretty much redundant from this side. My eventual plan is once both seats are marked up and installed, the back box will be made up for the dogs and gun storage. Then strip entire interior and line x floor / back wall.

Center console build is eventual as well with floor shifter, but i gota free up a few dollars first.

I may have done this prety quick but the rest will be bits and pieced here, but has to be done by mid October so it can get hauled to the deer camp.

Just a quick note also, on the back 2 bolts, there will be a 1.5” or 2” spacer between
The floor and seat mount; as it kinda reclines now since the original floor of the yukon had like a step up from 2nd to 3rd row.

I have square tubing of each, and plan on boxing the rear in with some 3/16 flatbar so theres not just a huge sharp foot grabber out the back

Heree they are all bolted down. Still need to paint & do some minor gap filling . But as you can see i re used 3 out of 4 factory holes. The spacer in the rear ended up being just over 3/4 inch. I used a piece of square tubing and cut it dead in half. The 1.5 was making it lean forward. And nothing made it lo rider style
