Has anyone put an 07 or newer dash in an obs? I have an 88 and might be able to get a 2007 dash cheap. Just curious if it would fit at all. I know it would be a lot of work. I was just wondering if anyone had some pics if its been done.

I think you would be the pioneer on that one. I've seen the gmt800 dashes swaped in but not a 900.

I've haven't seen it done yet.

In my opinion the 900 dash is one of the cheapest feeling dashes GM ever put into a truck.

I agree 100% having a new vehicle is nice but i almost wish I didn't trade in my 2005 for my 13'. I miss the dash and the comfy seats.

The new K2 dashes are an amazing improvement. Nice materials all the way around.

I've probably seen just as many GMT900 dashes with cracks as I have seen GMT400 with cracks, both 88 and 95 styles included.

Haven't seen one GMT800 dash cracked, but seen a lot of them with peeling paint.

Couldn't agree more. 800s have the best truck interior they ever made IMO. The more time I spend in a K200 the more I like them though.

The glove box doesn't even sit flush with the dash where it hinges And don't get me started withe all the unless shallow cubby holes. Or the front bumper caps.. I think a lot of cost saving went into the interior of these trucks.

The K2's finally made more of a leap forward in the quality department.
