new parking lights won't fit bulb socket?

I bought some new clear corner parking lights off ebay, they fit great but I can't get the bulbs in the lights, the tabs on the sockets won't line up with the lights holes, is this common? I thought I bought cheap lights, but I noticed that about 6" back from the bulbs the wires have been...

different power mirror wiring?

Im trying to replace the funky "sport" mirrors that came on the 96 I just bought. The mirrors I ordered off ebay have a 4 pin connector and my truck has 8 an 8 pin connector. Is there a way to splice/wire these mirrors up? Here's some pics for reference: My 96's power mirror controls...

pic request: tie rod notching

Does anyone have pics of how they notched their bagged trucks for the tie rods? I searched but can't find any pics of it, i'm thinking about buying a bagged truck but I think I need to get the front reinforced where it was notched for the tie rods. Thanks in advance guys!
