    I have a 96 1500 z71. 10 bolts about to :dancingpoop: I just bought a 14 bolt sf out of a 97 2500. I'm cleanin it up and putting new brakes on it then i'm getting ready to throw it under.     stupid swap questions

    I have a 96 chevy Z71 with a 350 vortec and a 4l60. 4l60 is in questionable condition, and i want a 5 speed bad. Do i have to use 96-98 nv3500s? or can i use the older ones too? I know i can just run the neutral safety switch as the clutch switch, and i just have to move the wire for the reverse...

    5 speed swap

    okay. 94 1500 4x4, 350tbi/4l60e. I plan on swapping to a 5 speed when i drop a new motor in. Will all nv3500's work? can i take one out of a 4.3 4x4 truck? splines the same on 2wd nv3500? I just need a list of what i can use if anyone happens to know. :hmm:

    i have a 94 1500. Motor trans and t-case came from a wrecked burban and have 62k-ish on em now. Bought the truck and it ran strong for a couple months. Seemed to be a little touchy for a stock tbi when i got it. I checked the timing and it was right between 8-9 degrees! I didn't understand how...
