5 speed swap

okay. 94 1500 4x4, 350tbi/4l60e. I plan on swapping to a 5 speed when i drop a new motor in. Will all nv3500's work? can i take one out of a 4.3 4x4 truck? splines the same on 2wd nv3500? I just need a list of what i can use if anyone happens to know.

4WD uses a whole different case than 2WD, Aim for 96 and up they are the strongest. Probably gonna have to reflash the comp so it forgets it's supposed to have an auto

you need the computer clutch pedal master cylinder, line, slave cylinder wiring for tranny steering column

i planned on just punchin the stud out on the column and takin the shifter off. And i thought with the obd1's i'd just have to run the neutral safety switch to the clutch pedal and and move the reverse light wires to the sensor on the nv3500

one way to tell is to unhook the wiring to the trans, the trans may go into a "limp mode" so just drive it around easy and see if your check engine light comes on, if not you should be good computer wise.

so will a nv3500 that was in a 4.3 4x4 bolt up to a 350? I know i'd need a 350 clutch and flywheel no matter what. Its still mated to the tcase. Can i use that tcase? Or will my tcase behind my 4l60 bolt up to that nv3500?
