Getting ready to swap need INFO!

I have a 96 ext cab z71. It currently has 350/4l60 with the push button 4x4. I have a 5 speed swap im about to start. Trans is from a 93. In the last couple days either the actuator or the tcase went. Not sure which. I have 4low but it wont go 4hi and occasionally gets stuck in neutral trying to change. so, I just wanted to see what all I need to know before I start the swap, and if I can swap to a different tcase and eliminate push button.

found a cheap 241-c tcase. Can anyone tell me if i can use it and what else i'd need to swap before i buy it?

Then it will bolt right up as long as the NV3500 has the 4x4 tail shaft.

Remember you'll have to cut a hole in the floor as the 241 is floor shift. You'll also need to get the actual shifter and linkage.
