    So the bigger caps (1350 side) measure to be 1.88 in diameter. The tech at Napa who was very helpful and knowledgeable ordered the set of straps that the book said would match that size. Even with that the straps are too big.

    No, the axle came stripped of smaller stuff like that. I did get the conversion u joint though and that fits nicely. I just need a set of straps.

    Question… What kind of u joint strap kit do I need?? I’m so tired of going to and from Napa just to be let down by the fact that the strap kits they’re selling me don’t fit… it’s a uj448 joint that I got. What strap kit now? 93, Chevy k1500, 350, 5 speed NV3500, 10 bolt to 14 bolt swap.

    A lot of the time, the diaphragm inside the horn gets rusty. It’s a metal disc that vibrates very fast; with the tuning screw adjusted just right it vibrates at a pitch that resembles a musical note. If you are interested, I’ll dig up the card for that repair guy. Don’t throw them out though...

    The thing with that system is, if there’s a fault, usually of any kind, the actuators won’t do anything when you press the buttons to control them. Atleast in my case that’s what I witnessed.
