    The headliner in my 90 standard cab is in good shape, but is is separated and falling down. I'm thinking about taking it out and re gluing it.     Does ECM need to "learn" after replacing faulty EGR valve?

    I just replaced a faulty EGR valve on my 1990 C1500 5.0 that was causing my check engine light to come on. I was told that I had to disconnect my battery for several minutes, which I did, to reset my ECM. Does it just instantly recalibrate itself, or is there a procedure for allowing it to learn?

    I would love to put a sub-woofer in my '90 C1500, but there is not much room. I'm a big guy so my seat is always back as far as it goes so that does not leave a lot of room back there. Maybe under the seat? I would love to see some pictures of a set-up that will fit.
