    Suburban gas tank install on C1500 pickup

    Has anyone installed a Suburban gas tank in between a set of 1991 C1500 Pick up frame rails? Also if it has been done, does the stock Suburban fuel pump and gauge sending unit work in that set up? In the photo,my plans are to move the air tanks and compressors and put the fuel tank in their place.

    1991 C1500 standard cab, short bad. Body has been channeled over the frame 4 1/2 inches. I going through the truck making changes and modifications. Correcting things that were just WRONG. The truck before the last owner ruined the paint job. The custom fiberglass dash. Custom center console.
