    Nope, on the 2wds the shock goes from the lca up through the spring and mounts in the middle of the spring bucket on the top.

    I would but for some reason that brake is locked up, something jammed or bent when the wheel cylinder blew. The brake on that side was rolling smoke from the short 1/4 mile trip to my mothers house. Ill get her home tonight after work one way or another.

    Yeah that was my thing. The fact that a newer half ton can pull as much as an older 1 ton dually. Can you even put the proper tongue weight on the newer 1/2 tons to safely pull a 10k trailer?

    I've got a buddy with an 88 5 speed eclb dually that I may have to dust the cob webs off of. I've got the 14k 25' trailer but the truck that pulls it is the one I'm needing to put on it. :33: What I don't understand is how the newer 1/2 tons are rated to pull 4k-5k more than the gmt400s/800s.

    Thanks for the quick response, that makes my decision a lot easier as that would be 9k+ with trailer. A bit much for a 95 c1500. Time to get ahold of a larger truck I guess.

    2wd control arm angle pic's

    I have a 2wd 95 ecsb with a 2.5 inch leveling kit in it, but I think the springs might be worn out, I was hoping someone might have or be able to get a picture of there control arm angle that I could compare to mine. PS a picture of stock might be handy as well
