I'll vote for Crutchfield as well. Ive got family that has used them for at least 25 years. Nice that they are based in VA as well.

As for the jack, I couldn't do it either. Temptation would come up and pass. Be more tempted if the failed unit was under warranty and they were a hassle to deal with for repair/replacement.

Well in a twist of fate, my oldest just called me asking if I wanted the amp and subs out of her old car that's getting sent to the crusher tomorrow. Older Sony 4-channel and 2-12" JL Audio subs.
I actually despise Sony....long story regarding working ALL summer as a kid to buy a CD player, VERY expensive at the time. It crapped out a while later and warranty wouldn't be honored for some reason I can't remember, this was 30+ yrs ago.
And always been a fan of JL's.
Anyway, the price is right (free, as they are "borrowing" woman's Journey)
So I guess me not getting to spend money last week was for a reason!
Must be Karmas way of saying I'm NOT returning the bottle jack after I resurrect little red!!!

Got some things to make some noise!

The amp is a "1000 watt" Sony 4-channel.
Ya right....lol. but does have 2-25 watt fuses, so it should put a little thump in the cab.
Cheap Kicker 4x6's and a Kenwood deck I got to come into the 21st century. Has Bluetooth and able to run my phone through the Android Auto to stream music., or USB stick.
And I made sure to get one with a CD player cuz I'm old school!!! Lol

Speaking of old school......just wait until y'all see what kind of stupidity I purchased last week!!
I may show it tomorrow!!! Lol

Holy crap!!!!
Just looked up what a sheet of 3/4" MDF.... friggin $75!!!! Last time I bought a sheet was like $35!!!!

Maybe time for a blow through!!!! Lol
Zip disks are a LOT cheaper than MDF!! Lol

Sounds about right sadly, I’ve been paying about $80-90 a sheet for 3/4 birch for sub boxes.

I didn't even dare look at any "real" plywood. Would need a defibrillator nearby!! Lol
I'm pretty out of the loop for being a carpenter!
Nice just putting a material req in with the super and a big truck drops it off, and usually with cookies!!! Lol
