Wow!
Your truck is beautiful! Love the wheels! Reminds me a lot of my 85 C20 (my last build).
What size are rims and tires are on it?

Factory 16" steelies with LT265/75R16 tires in all 5 positions.

BTW, down that functional resto thread a ways you can see what I started out
with -- the PO had taken a black rattle-can and sprayed over the original
factory silver, not exactly a flattering look.

I ran them through my blast cabinet, and on a whim decided to color
match them to the truck's Indigo Blue Metallic paint. (Inspired by the
choice older trucks I've seen at the Syracuse Nationals.)

It's an older C2500 8-lugger, and in person it has that broad-shouldered
no-nonsense presence. The more I give it to do, the happier it seems to be.

Thanks for kind words. Looking forward to seeing you around in the forum.
And don't skimp on the photos of your new (to you) long bed. A 33K mile
time capsule. Beauty!

Welcome from Florida!

That is a super-clean truck, congrats!

I guess we are a bit spoiled down here in the south, when it comes to the condition of the bodies and chassis on these trucks... unless it moved down with someone from the Northeast. We don't get many Canadian vehicles down here, though. It's also unusual to find a vehicle without AC in it (which is fine by me).

Just finished install on rough country 2” lift kit. New front springs, ball joint spacers, rear axle wedges. Not too bad a job for the driveway. Key was chaining floor jack to frame in order to compress lower control arm without lifting truck off jack stands.
Now it’s time to figure out rims and tires. I want either 16” or 17” with a nice sidewall. Maybe OD around the 31”-32” range. Most important is a nice quiet all season tread.
Anyone have suggestions?
