The aftermarket ones all shake and are bad.
You can also still order acdelco replacements.
If you can get OEM it's absolutely the best way to go.

Really almost none? If I have to get them from the junkyard how do I know I'm getting OEM?

Is there a newer model mirror that fits really well that I can find new?

New mirror:

The aftermarket ones all shake at road speeds, as noted above. You received advice above on where to find new ones - get the OEM parts that are still available brand new. They are not cheap, but the cheap ones don't work well. Here is one I bought with the factory part number. Buy once, cry once.

(Part number 15764757 for the driver side)

That's great, thanks!

Those are the same numbers though.

This looks like both links:

Try pricing the GMT800 top-line mirrors with power fold, heated, puddle light, turn signal, auto-dimming, yada yada! That's some cryin' for ya. You'll spend $1K+ for a pair of OEM.
