Not quite yet I just got home from work. Going to here in a few. Im thinking of spintech 6000 but idk.

I really like my 6000 but I wish I had not used the U bolt style clamps. I should have either welded it or use the band style clamps like this. I went 2-1 like the stock pipes and had to bend them a little closer together. Not with a bender but my dad held the torch while I muscled them together.

You'll also need an extra piece of pipe out the back since these mufflers are way shorter than the stock one.

But the U bolt ones crunch it too much and leak. Use these if you want clamps.

So I got most of my exhaust fixed. But my stock muffler is too quiet. I can barely hear the truck now. I want something loud but not clapped out. I still want to do dual in single out. Any help is greatly appreciated. Heres 2 pics of the new kit installed. Ill post pics of what the cat looks here in a bit.

I have a Dynomax turbo style on my Yukon. Manifolds, Jeg's offroad intermediate pipe (duals), no cats, their y pipe into a single 3" muffler/pipe coming out in stock location. Can hear it, it's not loud at all, but has a nice note to it. Gets a little louder once hit the gas, but not annoying at all. It has a drone but think that is a Tahoe/Yukon thing, cause all the ones I've had over the years all seem to do it.

I have dynomax mini bullets on mine. It’s similar to a glass pack but better. I’ve had them on this and longer ones on a k10 with a high output 350. They sound real good I would recommend getting longer ones than the minis wish I would have went that direction on my 97. Truck still has the cats right now but they will be gone soon.

I'm running Cherry Bomb Salute mufflers on WCJr. Engine Masters did a muffler shootout years ago, and if you have access to see the full version they post horsepower loss and dB numbers. I did some quick math and the Salutes were the quietest of the mufflers that lost the least horsepower. After them everything had a significant hp loss. They are on the ragged edge of "too loud", but the tone is very nice. I get compliments on how it sounds. I really need to shoot some video.

I have the Flowmaster FlowFX muffler on my ‘91 K2500. It’s quieter than a normal Flowmaster, but has a nice deep rumble. I’m running the factory dual tailpipes.
