How my 97 was for a while. I had the 3" GM dual tubing, high flow cats into a Y-into a 3.5" tailpipe. When I put the Thorleys on it and started towing my travel trailer it was just too loud. For short trips, not towing I miss the sound. I had electric cutouts on it but one of the motors went bad.
I bet it was too loud! Towing always brings the “air hammer chiseling frame bolts under a truck” sound out of an already noisy exhaust system :biggun:

Our shop truck is a 460 powered ford with true duals and super 10s. Makes my eyes water when we hook up a trailer to it.

We should make a thread on your exhaust notes first start up would be cool
This is my 383 before I put an ultraquiet on it. I love the Tri-Y headers with high flow cats and no muffler out of a single tailpipe sound.

while I do like the sound of some of the offering from flowmaster @L31MaxExpress is right about them robing power that is why I am going with black widow when the time comes
My 383 lost 1 in/hg vacuum at idle on the engine stand when I put knock off "Rumble" 40s on it.
