Ls 5.3 swap won’t take throttle and idle high

2003 yukon5.3 into a 94c1500 cut my own harness and added a dbc throttle body and harness from 99 silverado. I’ve checked tps checked good it has aeromotive fuel pump installed

idle sounds like a vacuum leak.

I had a similar issue with the engine not liking throttle and it was bad fuel injectors.

Motor been setting for 4 or 5 years I’ll check injectors it idles better when I unplug maf

Cleaned all injectors and still same idles high and when you hit accelerator is will surge up and down as long as throttle is closed it just idles high

Sounds like something is wrong in the tune or an issue with the IAC motor.

You said you used 2003. So not all 03+ pcms can control a IAC they dont have the chips and did you have it tuned swapped to a DBC segment

PCM is from 99 dbc imma get my buddy to check the tune im beginning to think that’s what it is
