I'd like to gt some mud guards for my Tahoe. Looking at two offers on Ebay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-GMC-...f05022ed:g:lGgAAOSwW9dZyr8q:rk:2:pf:0&vxp=mtr

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mud-Flaps-...5f833c1a:g:owYAAOSwD0lUfh6L:rk:1:pf:0&vxp=mtr

In the first listing, it says under "Compatibility" that they will not fit a '97 Tahoe - why is that, I thought wheel well openings etc were the same for Suburban, Tahoe and pickups... ?

The second option says it's compatible with the Tahoe, but it's 40 bucks more expensive...

Can someone shed some light on this?

Oh and BTW - if someone wishes to use this thread to voice their general opinion whether mud guards look good or not: you're welcome, but (especially when your opinion is negative) please provide some pics to prove your point (preferably on a Tahoe or Suburban).

The first listing does say it works with 95-99 Tahoe, so I’d think they would work. I wouldn’t see any reason that they wouldn’t fit if the rest of the C/K line is shown as compatible.

I suspect that you get what you pay for, though. There’s probably a reason that they’re selling them for half the price of the name brand, but I have no experience with them.

You're probably right, perhaps the second listing is better quality... I see they are a bit different shape, too.
