Good news is the front AC might be fine. When I complained I got a call that the 3 minor complaints I had were addressed the AC being one.
I drove it on a warm day in November and the rear AC was ice cold but front was not cold. May have just needed a recharge.
If you look at the driver side...
And it sold to someone else…low miles 42000 but the driver side doors had been painted, the front air, conditioner didn’t work, the brakes were mushier than usual with no change in price…
hope the new buyer did better than me with that dealership

hmmmm...dealership that had a Suburban I was looking at lowered their asking price by $1,100 but no call to me...I can't understand some sellers...

if information posted in this threads helps anyone, I'm fine with that...pushing the ball forward is always appreciated...
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I don't currently have one...I'm thinking of picking up another one but am conflicted on if it's still worth it to pick up a GMT400 and then which GMT400 to get, Suburban size or Yukon size...

just teasing'...I had a Silver Sand 2000 Escalade I bought pre owned and drove it for almost 6 years...sold it to a buddy who kept it 7 more and he sold it (for more than what he paid me for it ;) ) to a coworker for his wife...she's been driving it two more years...
I didn't know about the rear windows (all the way down and 3/4 down) as well as rear heat and a few more things brought up here...thanks...keep it up if so inclined...this is helpful and very much appreciated

I've been looking and I see each...beyond the obvious extra size and third row of a Suburban are there any advantages in buying one or the other of the 1999 vintage?...5.7 L31s and equally outfitted (LT/SLT)
Thanks for any help or experience you care to share...
