I have a 94 silverado and the gas pedal is really stiff for some reason. When you go to push it down its really stiff but once you get it pushed in a little it feels normal? So i'm constantly taking off like im in a race at every stop sign. I've read that changing the cable out would help? Any...
I picked up a 99 Tahoe tonight and the first thing I'm havin issues with is it is bogging down and missing when trying to accelerate or if its in park or neutral and you give it gas once it gets passed 2k it starts to fall on its face. What issues am I looking at?
I think I'm gonna look into them and ill just keep an eye on them for a while and see what happens. Yes I did! It was cranked to high with the keys and the shop I took it to put over 50lbs of pressure in my tires. So i decranked the keys all the way and lowered the tire pressure and picked up a...
I'm running 35's on nnbs wheels on my z71 but they rub the frame around full lock so I was wondering if wheel spacers would be a good investment? Here's a pic of the truck for reference.
Update: got the bars completely decranked and helped my front end a bit and I found out that the shop put to much air in the tires too so with those fixed it rides pretty good. I'm going to pick up a new set of shocks in the next day or so!
I think they rub on the frame a bit when I'm fully locked i haven't been able to drive it much yet so I'll report back. I only had to shave a bit off the lower valance and thats it!
Thanks bud!! I'll take your word on it and go with longer shocks! It's a 1.5" block! I wanna drive it so bad and I wasn't sure which route to go hah. Here's another quick pic i took of it
I finally had time to get the tires on! they are 35's on nnbs style rims. I went with a crank and block and now my shocks are to short and its almost undriveable.. The shop told me if I got longer shocks it'd make a big difference? I'm wondering if I'm better off getting new shocks and maybe de...
