probably the previous owners didnt do oil changes? iv only put about 1,000 miles on it since ive had it. its got 200k on it though and the intake gasket just went so thats when i discovered this. with 200k i dont expect it to last that much longer but i dont drive it much either. im thinking...
im doing intake gaskets on my 92 its got the 5.7. theres the two metal fuel lines is there an easy way to get those out of the way? it looks like theres a bracket holding them on the rear of the engine but it looks like a pain to get to.
thats what worries me. some people say change it your self some people say never change it some say only take it to a shop and hook it up the the machine sucks it out as it pumps it in.
the radiator is shot in my truck and it has the built in trans cooler. when i do the radiator im gona also do the leaking tranny cooler lines going to the radiator. am i gona loose a lot of tranny fluid? can i just top it off? or do i have to do the whole tranny fluid flush and exchange?
so my headliner is sagging pretty bad now and im about ready to rip it out. what are my options? do i have to remove the whole headliner to re glue the fabric? its an extended cab some one told me the rear plastics are a pain to remove to remove the headliner. i have a feeling its gona look like...
