A little advice and help please.

Anyone have any input on monster transmissions? Are they any good? In the event I have to replace my transmission I'd like to know where to go for a remanufactured one.

Thanks rhino I was thinking the same thing cause if I'm gonna be dropping the pan I might as well change the internal harness as an assembly pigtail and all. And I found one on eBay for $40 which compared to rock auto at $150 is cheaper choice. I'm also gonna change the fluid and filter again.

Thank you sir I'll have to recheck the connectors and then order a harness most likely which is still cheaper than another transmission.

A little advice and help please.

The issue is this. At random points my transmission which is a 4l80e won't shift outta 2nd. It seems to happen when I go to give it gas to get into traffic but doesn't happen all the time and it pops a P0756 which is for the shift solenoid B. I've checked the grounds and all seem good I checked...

Ok so we didn't take the beast I decided not to at the last minute. I figured a shorter trip would be better than one that far incase something happens I can get towed back home.

Well the wife and I are going to go visit family for the 4th and have decided to take the beast and see how she does. It's not a long trip really just about 320 miles round trip. I'll let everyone know how she did when we get back so wish us luck lol

Ok so I've been thinking about wire management the past few days and was wondering for grounding purposes could I use a junction block on my fire wall grounded to the frame to ground my PCM and such? Or does it have to ground to the engine?

I don't know maybe I made a mistake in buying this truck perhaps I should have just picked up an ECLB 350. But for now I am stuck as I can't afford to buy another truck. I'll decide between now and the income tax time and if I don't have any engine issues, cause I don't go peddle to the floor...
