and Harley charges $29.95 for the privilege of owning that bulb....that "-02" in the part number (upper left) means Harley has been using that particular bulb since they introduced it to their catalog/inventory in 2002.....if the part was superseded it would have an "A" after the -02, like 67074-02A.......just some trivia.

$30 bucks is pretty cheap if you ask me, in regards to life safety equipment.

Would you jump out of a perfectly good airplane with a $5.00 parachute?

no....i used military issue static line, LOL

but indeed.......but it's expensive

read the reviews

wait a minute......Harley's site says it's a blue tinted Xenon.....i have no idea how that came to be in my garage, but i think there is an H4LL bulb in the stead of the hi-po blue one......

i may have photographed the wrong bulb. an impostor even! i'll call work to confirm what's supposed to be in the package tomorrow.
i don't want to spread misinformation......it's still fu@kin expensive.

g'mornin......

well, you can call me Mr. Manual Dexterity now.......it took me 15 minutes to get this apart. having an extra hand would be best.....or a friendly octopus needing something to do......twas hard for me to operate 2 little screwdrivers, pliers and the switch all at the same time!

the little swinging contact in the switch housing popped out when i "gingerly" ripped 'em apart...and now i'm not sure of it's orientation.......now where to get the little bulb?

have i ever mentioned that i'm not very fond of electrical?

i have a PM out to Cokeman95 for his fog light switch and bezel. i want another one........i've decided to "remote mount" the airbag switch somewhere and stack the switches FOG, CARGO and FOG.

the top FOG will trip my bumper mounted fog lights......and i'll probably have that provide power (when ON) to a red lighted auxiliary toggle for a single red rear fog LAMP, like the Europeans have.....not sure yet what configuration. mayhaps a surface mounted light in the bumper under the left tail light......all it needs to be is about as bright as a brake light, constant ON when switched.

i have an LED's setup that mounts up under the bed-rails, got it from LMC when i ordered the bumper.. i would like the center mounted CARGO switch to trigger these as well.......i'll replace the 194's with the "brighter" LED equivalent in the housing on the cab. i think that will provide decent lighting for the bed area. the wiring for the stock cargo switch is a tad confusing as it's switched GROUND as i understand it.....only able to work when the cab lights are on inside......makes sense though.

the bottom Fog switch will trigger some REAR lighting i'm still working out.......perhaps a set of driving lights under the bumper next to the hitch........

i'm going to be putting LED flood lights on either side of the truck too.....port and starboard.....but NOT red and green. LOL

I have thought about remote mounting the airbag switch, S10 pickups and blazers have the same plug but a different mounting switch. I will check my stash, not sure if I grabbed one from the yard or not.

Whatever you do with the airbag circuit, never, ever work on it live with the battery hooked up, and do not poke or probe the yellow jacketed wiring.

The airbag can deploy if you probe the wiring with a 12v test light.
