Which company do you like best?

I planned to start this as just a question thread about opinions/views on using SpringTech, but after searching, I didn't find a discussion thread on lowering shocks, so figured I'd make one.

Now discuss people! :drunk:

ah yeah, ***** tech :D I was looking at some the other day, but I forgot where I found them again.

I think it was their "nitro shocks" or something, let me see if I can find again. I can't ever remember how to spell that name.

ECSB with 3" front drop and 9" rear with monoleaf....using those specs, does anyone have an approximate shock length for front and rear? If not, it's ok, if you could tell me the model number of the shocks you used, and what drop you have, it will allow me to calculate my approximate shock length needed. Thank You!

I like belltech drop shock's for a static drop. I just like the ride of them, I have had DJM shock's, Toxic's shock's, etc, but for the Bell tech's are good.

Yeah, something makes me leery of Belltech, but I don't remember what it is. Did they used to have major problems with their shocks or some suspension component a while back? Like I said, I don't remember what it was, but something bothers me everytime I consider going Belltech for anything. I've gone McGaughy's for most of my parts, but at the end of the day, I still end up needing shocks. If I didn't care for stability, I'd run shockless and drive around breaking stuff

The only thing I know of is that Belltech drop spindles for the 88-98 push the wheel's out 1/4in. on each side, I am running them on both of my crew cab's.

Oh ok, so the spindle face is too far out then. Well, that's better than some I've seen/heard about. Thanks.

Hey kev, did you by chance run the belltech shocks shaft-down? or did the fluid just blow upwards out the seals?

If you had them mounted in stock location, just disregard that question....it was just me not thinking this morning....afternoon.
