My thoughts were an updated but old school look for an updated old school truck. I have debated the chrome mirror etc... as well but going with it for now at least.

Don't get me wrong I love the truck, I'm not a chrome guy by any means, I'm a black it out kinda guy..but to me all white vehicles should be storm trooper'd

Going to look so sweet lowered!!! I like the chrome you put but that's it no more chrome. Its your truck but please no chrome handles or nothing like that. But its coming out nice

Not to worry. I just painted all the handles. I always loved the color matched handles on these trucks. No chrome stick on's I promise.

Did you remove the handles to paint them or did you paint them on the truck?...

Everything was disassembled. It's impossible to paint them in the truck and make them look any good.

Adding to my list of things that need doing with a really weird 3rd brake light issue. I replaced the OEM light with a LED unit. Cargo light worked fine but could not get the 3rd brake light to work at all...until I tried it with the door open. Works perfectly with the dome lights on but only when the dome lights are on. Suggestions on what the problem might be?

Sometimes I've heard that switching LED bulbs in stock housing you have to ground them separately..try it and see maybe that'll help
