that's not your problem, I think all yoke's have them.
No some are vented, some aren't. I don't know what is normally used with the TH350.

hmmm, still though honestly for the work and time involved I'd just use my DS and yoke and just yank the tail, change the o-ring and be done. I guess it aint hard to find that o-ring? if so might be easier to get a new u joint and change yokes.
that's not your problem, I think all yoke's have them. The problem is the o-ring inside the tailshaft that seals the driveshafy yoke inside from the fluid. When that o-ring is bad it let's fluid in there and pukes out.

Way too much work, when all i gotta do is change a u-joint...
...... but how the freakin crap is the trans made different for vented yoke and none vented?
I've been in a couple and that's whay I asked how the heck they are different LOL. I would think more of it being hit and miss as to which ones have a hole and which don't.
