Fuel is $3.50ish /gallon here.

And we only have emissions inspection here. Last year was the last time I had to pass it with my 88 as it hit the "too old" category.

I've never had a vehicle that I'd needed to have inspected, of any sort. Probably a good thing!

25 years old makes it eligible for 'collector' plates, here! Cheap, cheap, cheap insurance with the restriction that it can't be used for, or as transportation, to & from work. Pleasure use only. With full coverage, around $200.00-$400.00/year, depending on the vehicle & your driving history. And the vehicle is emission inspection free! Although emission testing is being eliminated here next year.

no inspection at all here. unless you get pulled over, i got a "box 2" on my blue stepside, means you have 30 days to get an full inspection, my uncle has an inspection shop, so it wasn't a problem, but i didnt have anything that was unfit for road use anyways.

got the "box 2" for cracked windshield and my fuel filler was out of a fleetside and was about 2" out of the box and not secure.

I am open to heading to the good ole USA, never been there before anyways (Odd, seeing how i have been to Portugal and Cuba), we could probabley get more members to come anyways.

But, i got no clue where to do it, i think July/August of next year we should shoot for? any events going on?

Maybe something for the Summer. I still think that The Portland Swapmeet would be a good time & place. Only prob is that it usually rains that weekend. IIRC that swapmeet is in the spring, too. So maybe someone else has an idea.
