What's with the tow hooks?

Like I said in the WDYDTYGT thread, truck looks great!

EDIT: oh, and grab a $10 can of bedliner and slap it on your frame, haha- I LOVE my painted frame. Looks way better

I actually got one gallon of rust-proof magnet paint of some sort and used a paint brush (took a while, but turned out aweseome- didn't use it all either, even with two coats) and a few rattle-cans of undercoating for the hard to reach spots like over the gas tank, transmission and on the front end stuff. So I probably used about a gallon total, two coats.

Probably get 6-8 cans would be my geuss.

holy crap I love those gauges! I would love to know what kind of LED's those are!? will any old LED work? and do you just clip them in the stock mounting plastic screw-thing and push the (+) & (-) pins on the LED into the contacts, any epoxy or what? Also... any lift on your truck before you did the body lift?? I have a set of 305 70 R16 m/t's that I havnt test fitted for rubbing yet on my tahoe, then again, it ain't no Z71.. just the LS. If I can get away with stuffing them under there without having to body lift it and being ok up and down a logging road pulling the tent trailer, then I would be a very happy camper :) . I have a pair of 2" blocks hanging out in my toolbox somewhere from a previous truck, and can throw those in the rear and crank up the torsions maybe 1" maximum, dont want to blow up the front end. (been there done that; idiotically more than once :banghead: ) All around cool truck man!

Thanks. I really appreciate it. Sorry for not replying earlier. It has been a crazy last couple months and haven't had the opportunity to get on here lately.

I had 3" Block and crank on before the body lift. I also have 16x10 wheels so that make a lot of difference too.

As for the LEDs, I purchased them from a member here. His name is Deven and screen name is Devs93. He will hook you up, let him know I sent you, and they are all plug and play. Just pull out the old 194 bulbs and insert these. Just FYI...If I had to do it again I would have upgraded to the next stage up so they would be dimmable. I wish mine were.
