I can use my gauge to check for misfires,I replaced the plugs,wires last week,and the ignition coil it wasn't reading right on my voltmete

Sorry to be blunt but if your gauge wasn't getting any codes then you either don't have a misfire or it's a piece of junk. I'd just try going to a parts store and getting it scanned to see if anything comes up. It can't hurt anything and it's free...just my $.02

I got something..... I left my scan gauge in misfire mode and while I was driving my kids to school cylinder #4 & #7 logged a misfire but no trouble code. More advice please.

Have you replaced the cap and rotor?

I've owned the tahoe for 4 years and I haven't replaced or serviced the cap or rotor,to tell you the truth I'm 100% positive it's the original cap and rotor.

It's a pretty good place to start if they haven't been replaced in a while

I have a 42 gallon tank on my Suburban. Is it best to keep it topped off or to just keep 10-20 gallons in it, or does it even matter? I've heard a few different opinions and don't really know what to believe. Thanks.
