if you decide to do led lights/turnsignals you will need a special flasher for them

Thats what i meant in the thread i deleted the vortec box. I also got hotter plugs to burn more efficient.
when it comes to spark pugs ac delcos are way to go with the heat range of your choice dont waste money on iridium or other fancy plugs they may last a long time but these older engines that trace their roots back to the 50s do not benefit from them the way modern engine do or so I have been told and I have not seen any evidence that says otherwise

The Vortec was designed with Iridiums. A copper plug barely lasts 15K miles in these engines and should really be changed sooner than that for best performance.

@boy&hisdogs did a brake upgrade on his truck. He used 2500/3500 calipers, 1500 pads, and 2500/3500 wheel cylinders in his truck. You want to replace the wheel cylinders and calipers at the same time or they won't lock up in tandem. This will be the next upgrade for me when my brake components wear out.

I swapped in and used those wheel cylinders on a 14b semi floater and I think thats where most of the improvement in the rear came from. The wheel cylinders were the dually ones, and yes there is a difference.

If you do front/back separately you will need a proportioning valve or else one end will lock up too soon. I don't know anything about them since I did all my brakes around the same time but others on here can help.
