we all start some where I do oddball jobs with a buddy of mine from time to time when he need a hand. it is not a lot but it helps I have very poor eyes do to an accident i had at a very young age and can not work a legit job but I do what I can when I can. it dose not help that I like building older trucks and have a interest in 1970s audio equipment.

agree there and less things that can break but I must say that the 3rd door makes it more easy to change out the rear speakers and put an under seat sub box in

That’s why I’m not installing speakers in the back. You’ve got a point there.

I have a 1997 k1500 with no 3rd door was that a basic factory option? or did you have to pay more for the 3rd door option? Just trying to understand my truck a little better. It also has a huge drive line like a 3500s series far as i know its stock. It dosent have the f44 hd chassis rpo code. Thanks to all who reply

Yea my speakers are shot. Besides the back 2. Passanger ones fried. Shes a good ole truck. Cranky at times.
