Nest time the officer stops you have him measure from the BOTTOM of the front tires--as far out as those front tires are leaning I bet the bottoms are 2-3" closer to the flares/body...........

You don't get to tell a state trooper how to measure tire protrusion on the side of the road unless you want him to start looking for more violations.:badidea:

The front ones are chopped and done front end needs attention for sure . . I found out that I'm allowed 3" beyond the original fender in PA. . I was only given a warning but it's a $100 per tire fine and that doubles per fraction

PA code states that there is a maximum fender flare width of 3 inches, and a maximum vehicle width of 96 inches.

This. I don't know what has happened with people the past thirty years or so but the road side isn't a courthouse. Even if the officer is wrong, the sensible, smart thing to do is contest it in court. Just because you're given a ticket doesn't mean you'll end up paying it.

This sounds to me like he was looking for a reason to pull you over, most every vehicle (even brand new ones) has something on it that is technically outside the law, and that's enough to get you stopped As others have said, there are some things that need to be addressed on the truck, so handle that. Research the vehicle code so you know what you're allowed to do and what you're not. Then, when you get pulled over again, be polite and make sure everything is up to scratch in terms of paperwork etc. so that it cannot be impounded. Take the ticket and as suggested fight it in court. No reason to be a d!ck to him, but also no reason to accept what he says as gospel.
Also, you now know this cop has professional interest in your truck, act accordingly.
