Harwood brand cowl hoods are functional, with an open rear cowl area.

How this one is. All open underneath. If the early ones will flow air, why won't this one...

All steel. It doesn't block much, mostly directly over/in front the hood. I can get a pic of the inside showing the view...

That would be great if you don't mind, i love the way these hoods look and i think 2” looks too small but worried how the 4” would look and if it would block any even though thats not a huge concern because I’m probably gonna do that and a lift around the same time so will probably lose visibility from that hut who cares!!

I'm the same way. 2" looks like stock anymore, and this one was actually cheaper than some other hoods. Every vehicle I own (mainly trucks) have cowl hoods and windshield visors lol, love the look. Guess you can say I'm old school lol. Hate the tire/wheel trend nowadays too. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow, doing birthday for my son...

I like the lighted visors, but this came with it, and wasn't about to change it. I had a lit one on my old Tahoe I could have taken off, but then would have holes, and the holes prolly wouldn't have lined up between the yukons and the lit visor. I got the hood from Jegs, see if I can find it.

Price had gone up!!!! shocker.....course this was 4-5 years ago when I bought it, $281 and $100 to ship, comes via truck freight. Had to send one back, guess it was dented pretty bad. They fit pretty good, I'm no body man, but with lil tweakin' the gaps are good all the way around. Uses stock hinges, latch and safety thingy....
